mappingology

Tag Descriptions I use for my maps; similar ideas groups together:

Gimmicks / Motifs

Longues Notes - A Long note section is included, but it's usually not overly layered. More often than not, one LN with notes surrounding.

Cohérence - The map is relatively consistent, allowing the player to easily get high accuracy.

Accords - Chord usage throughout the map is quite common, often accompanying Coherence type maps.

Repetition - Phrases of the map repeat with slight variation. This is done to give empasis on the song's repetitive nature.

Symmetry - The left and right hands mirror each other. Often this happens during chorded sections, but this can also include streams.

L/R - The left and right hand are treated separately in various parts of the map. This is usally done to emphasize the different instruments.

Pitch Relevance - The map is designed in a way to follow the pitch of the song, with "lower" notes to the left, and "higher" notes to the right

Velocity - There is a singular SV idea in the map, usually happening around the Kiai drop. May be unreadable due to my mapping...

Patterns

Brackets -

Spam Protection - Brackets designed in a way to prevent the player from spamming big chords.

Streams -

HyperStreams - Chordstreams mapped with the inclusion of brackets and spacing; reminiscent of HyperStream's mapping style.
